Fourka

Fourka Kassandra Halkidiki

The village of Fourka, located around 100 kilometres from Thessaloniki, is a popular destination for travellers. The Skala of Fourka (Fourka Beach) is the first item a tourist notices when they arrive.

Two kilometres separate the town of Fourka from the city centre. The village’s natural beauty and history are complemented by contemporary hotel amenities and a lively nightlife.

It’s worth highlighting that the residents’ kindness and traditional hospitality ensure that visitors enjoy the finest possible vacation experience.

Flashback

The history of Fourka is not devoid of interest. St. Athanasio’s cemetery church has an inscription that dates back to the Roman era.

The remains of St. Ioannis Temple, as well as the different chapels and homes —worthy of their construction – that have been unearthed recently are signs of the village’s history.

Natural beauties

A community surrounded by lush vegetation. Pinewoods, olive trees, and all kinds of other plants and flowers fill this wonderland. In a place where: the sun shines, the sea is big and serene as a lake, and it is adorned with diamonds.

It’s possible these words were written by a poet. “Blue flag of Europe” flies above the beach, which is a brilliant blue. It also works nicely with the mountain’s pinewood.

The awe-inspiring sunset brings this fantasy world to a close. Red, purple, and orange hues adorn the skyline as the sun sinks beyond the horizon.

Cosmopolitan character

Besides the natural beauty, travellers are drawn to the well-organized tourism industry. It’s easy to relax and unwind at today’s hotels.

Visitors are more likely to be satisfied if they have a good time. Everyone may enjoy the nightlife in Fourka.
