You can come to Halkidiki by plane using the airport “Makedonia” of Thessaloniki city.
You can reach the airport using various flights from different European cities.
After your arrival at the airport:
Use a Bus, a Taxi or rent a Car.
Using the car or taxi takes about 30′ to reach Nea Moudania at Kassandra, and 60′ to reach Neos Marmaras at Sithonia.
By ship
The nearby port is the Thessaloniki Port Authority. You can use the Kavala port as well, if you are coming from the East Aegean islands.
By train
Halkidiki doesn’t have a transportation option by train. You can arrive at Thessaloniki’s rail station as your last station from various department cities and then choose between the aforementioned options.
