Join us in a safe and comfortable 5-hour cruise where you will have the chance to learn about the history of the Holy Monasteries of “Mount Athos” and marvel at their unique architecture. In this multilingual guided tour, we will leave the rest of the world behind us on our glassbottom vessel (with the ability to admire the ocean floor) as we head into the ascetic community of the Holy Mountain.

Itinerary:

Starting our cruise from Ouranoupolis, we visit the the Holy Monastery of Dochiarion. Continuing our journey we encounter monasteries, small monastic villages (Sketes and Dafni in the main port of Mount Athos). Lastly, we will traverse through Ammouliani’s gorgeous islet complex (Drenia) to the island of “Ammouliani”, where we will have an hour and a half of free time. Finally, we arrive at the port of Ouranoupolis at 16.00.

• From 01/05-01/06, the 1.5-hour stop is at the center port of Ammouliani’s village.
• From 01/06-15/09, the 1.5-hour stop is at the famous Alikes lagoon. (we stop at the port of the beach, where you can go for a swim or enjoy your lunch at the lagoon’s restaurant).
• From 15/09-30/09, the 1,5-hour stop is at the center port of Ammouliani’s village.

Remember before you go
Women are not allowed on Mt. Athos for religious reasons. As a result, the cruise will not get closer than 500-meters to the island.
