Hanioti

Hanioti (Chaniotis) Kassandra Halkidiki

According to folklore, the village’s first occupant was a Hania native.

It was at Kassandra on the island of Crete that he settled in the old village that is now located south of today’s settlement and around 2.5 kilometres away.

The community was relocated to a new location in 1930 after an earthquake devastated the area.

There are several springs in the region, and the vegetation is diverse.

Hanioti’s lovely beach attracts a lot of tourists every year. There are numerous attractive areas in the village where visitors may relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal.

In the day and night, Hanioti (Chaniotis) has a wide variety of activities for visitors to enjoy.
