Kriopigi, Kassandra Halkidiki

Kriopigi is located on the Kassandra Peninsula, around 90 kilometres from Thessaloniki. It is built amphitheatrically on the slope of a piney hill with a spectacular view of the Kassandra Gulf.

The territory has been inhabited since antiquity, and Kriopigi is now located between Neapolis and Flegra. The beautiful temperature, the combination of the green mountain and the clean sea – which has been recognised with several blue flags – as well as the quality services and hospitality make Kriopigi one of the area’s most noteworthy resorts.

The hotel units, which now number 1000 rooms, as well as the G.N.T.O camping and the three hundred furnished flats and rooms in the neighbourhood, provide visitors with a comfortable and enjoyable stay, as well as the option of participating in a variety of activities (sea sports, excursions, tennis, horse riding, e.t.c).

The Dr. Erhart and Sofia Ziegler Center for Pedagogic Research and Education is located in Kriopigi and is a gift from them. This centre is a gathering place for educators from all over the world, who come to collaborate and attend the different seminars and conferences that are held throughout the year.

The visitor may sample high-quality natural goods such as honey, fruits, olives, and olive oil, as well as see the fountain, which was named after the hamlet and has been in operation for many years.

The region has all of the required services, such as restaurants, taverns, super stores, fish taverns, nightclubs, bars, pop art shops, and so on, to assure delightful holidays.
