Firs tree of Taxiarchis

Taxiarchis is a village build in the heart of mountain Holomontas on a high of 670 m.

The joy of Christmas is cultivated here in the Halkidiki mountains. In the village of Taxiarchis in central Halkidiki, families are engaged in the cultivation of fir trees in the beautiful mountain of Holomonta.

In total, in an area of more than 4,000 acres, about 3.5 million firs grow. Live firs not only do not harm nature, but help it.

At least two new ones are planted in Taxiarchis’ place in place of a cut tree.
